Christian TV

Sorry, but I need to get on my soap box.

I love Christian television - not all of it, but I have certain programs that I REALLY LIKE to watch - especially on Sunday night after church. Well, ever since our Christian station changed over to Daystar feed, the Christian station STINKS. And I mean that in big bold capital letters. I have managed, however, through trial and error and having to have a dvr, to find some of my programs. Most of them are no longer on Channel 30 which is here in town. Now, most of them are on another channel altogether. Plus, some of them are on channels that you have to have a digital receiver or a dvr in order to access those channels. A couple of my programs aren't on any station now and I am forced to come sit in my computer room in order to watch them. It is so aggravating! I loved coming home from church on Sunday nights, getting my jammies on and snuggling up in bed to watch my programs. Can't do that any longer because I have to have the dvr to see them and that is in the living room. And I am not about to pay more every month for a couple more dvrs so I can have one in my bedroom and one in my sewing room. Grrrrrr!!!!!!!

About the only other thing I watch on tv is cartoons - specifically Noggin and PBS Sprout, although I do watch one other cartoon on the Disney station which has also gone to the dogs as far as programming goes. I'm sorry, but I can't stand watching shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, and some of that other garbage that teaches kids to be mouthy, bad mannered, have bad attitudes, and be disrespectful. My granddauther gets so mad at me because I won't let her watch that stuff. I'm telling you people - that junk pollutes our kid's minds! What happened to the good old Disney programs like Jo Jo's Circus and Roly Poly Oly? I really must be getting old.

Anyway, I just needed to vent my frustrations about tv. Terrible to think we are paying to watch a square box that has nothing but trash on it anymore.

That's it for my two cents worth (or maybe a dollar!)
