Change

I hate change - well most of it anyway. I like my nice safe little rut that I live in. However, I painted some of the inside of my house and then just quit because I am sick of painting and I'm having all kinds of problems with it. The blue paint won't dry hard and when I close a door, the paint sticks to the jam and tears it off. So, I figure, what's the point of continuing? I'm not going to touch up anymore and if and when we decide to move from here, I will go back and retouch up the spots and let the next owner deal with it. Of course, I haven't finished painting the rest of the house for that very reason. It's hard to continue with something that doesn't turn out right. I can say, that I love my kitchen now. I painted the cupboards a cranberry color and they look so cool. With the new laminate floor in, it looks so cozy. As far as the blue that won't dry hard on all the wood trim, I wish I hadn't used that color because I don't know if I really like it with the walls. I am NOT going to go back and repaint it a different color. Anyways, here are pics of my kitchen. That little lamp on the table is no longer there as I have a wooden bowl on there now.
