New Year - 2010

Well, the last time I blogged was back in June of 2009. Many changes have taken place in the past year - especially in our country. Changes, that are NOT for the good. However, I do believe that regardless of what is going on around me, God is still in control and is not surprised by anything that is happening. Unfortunately, a lot of people are suffering. Jobs have been lost, our health care is at risk. Our country is trillions of dollars in debt. A lot of things are also going on behind the scenese where the average American does not see or hear. Sinister things. But again, God is Lord of all and it will be His will that is exercised. We may not understand the reasoning behind it, but I do believe what the Bible says, "that all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose." (my paraphrase).
