Changes

Hello world. It's been awhile since I posted anything on here. Lots of things have happened.

The school year ended for three of the grandkids while Noah went on to summer school. Mallory went away for a week to church camp. I was saddened to find out that this year, they raised the age limit so now Jamison won't be able to go next year to camp. He will have to wait another year until 5th grade (he's in 3rd now). But, maybe that's better because perhaps by 5th grade, they won't get homesick. When summer school was out, Noah went to his mom's for two weeks and then was back home a week before school started.

I got to have Jamison and Jaxson all last week because school in their town starts a week later than ours does. So, tomorrow, they will both start school. Jamison will be in 3rd grade and Jaxson will start kindergarten. Mallory started middle school this year! So, two big changes were Mallory in middle school and Jaxson starting kindergarten. Tomorrow, everyone will be in school except Sawyer who is 4. It will be back to just he and I during the day until Noah gets home from school. Another big change - Mallory is staying home by herself in the morning and after school. She is riding her bike the 18 blocks. That's a hard one for this Nana to deal with having babysat her since she was little and taking her back and forth to school. Once it gets cold out, I will be taking her to and from middle school though. Poor Sawyer is going to get bored by himself I think. He has had Mallory home all summer and then last week he had Jamison and Jaxson here. He always has Noah when he gets home from school, but during the daytime it's going to be lonely. He and I will have to get out in the car and go on some field trips or something. "Supposedly" he will be starting pre-school in January and then I won't have any of the kids during the day until after school. THAT will definitely be different!
