Pumpkin Pickin' Time

Last weekend, we took Jamison, Jaxson, and Noah to the Apple Orchard. That can get really expensive when you get rides for 3 boys. By the time we rode the ponies, the train, and took the hayride to pick out pumpkins and pay for them, we were out of money. They didn't get to play on the inflatables which was a bummer for them. We decided next year, we would forgo the ponies and train and stick to the inflatables and picking out a pumpkin.

Quack Quack

There is a park out off E. 26th street called Arrowhead Park. It has a couple of ponds that are full of geese, ducks, and a swan. I started taking the grandkids out to feed them and now I am finding myself buying 50 pounds of cracked corn every week. I could actually buy a bag every couple of days but that gets a little expensive. So, periodically, I take the kids out and we have a great time feeding them. They are all so tame that they come right up to your car and will even eat out of your hand.

Homecoming

Marion, SD homecoming. All the kids from the school get to be in the parade. Jamison got to ride on a float. He is the only one who waved.

All The Better To See You With My Dear!

Mallory had her eyes tested at school. Not perfect vision anymore. So, Noel took here to the eye doctor today and she had to get glasses. Mallory picked out the frames herself. Cute!
